Daniellestyle makes Martha Stewart Weddings

We couldn't be prouder to have been a part of Lydia's wedding last year that was just featured in Martha Stewart Weddings.  She and her family were a treat to work with, she let me do what ever I wanted with her hair and make-up, and oh yeah…she is a flipping DOLL!!!  For the ceremony we styled her loose waves into one of my favorite styles, 3/4 up.  This style pulls a little more hair back than the classic 1/2 up and creates a fantastic shape that both frames the face and keeps the hair back and out of the way. Her make-up was a  brown-gold smokey eye with a little pop of shimmer at the center of the lid to draw some light to the area. I love this technique because every time you blink the light catches the shimmer.

I don't know if it's possible to have a better looking couple.

When I returned for touchups Lydia's hair went up into the loose, textured coif I have been told is my " signature style".  Nothing like having your stylist friends say, " Did you do this style? I knew it! It had you written all over it."  I'm not sure about all that, but I do love nothing more than an up style that looks like it was effortlessly whipped up by a fairy God mothers wand.  You know what I mean… Lydia's evening make-up was topped off with a little darker eye, some highlighter to give a " lit by candles" effect to the skin, and a creamy lip so as to not scare the groom off from smooches.   Dare I say it made for a dashing entrance into the reception!

There is that style I was talking about:)

Thanks to Lydia and her family for allowing the Daniellestyle Team be a part of her event.
